- DESCRIPTION: The corollas of these freesias, developed by horticulturists through selective breeding and hybridization, consist of numerous segments, resulting in larger, fuller, or "double" flowers. The flowers are funnel-shaped, wonderfully fragrant, and have a double bloom on gracefully curved stems. These plants have the same care requirements as those of horticultural origin with single flowers and can be mixed with them during planting.
